BTA introduced to tank on Sat., see previous post http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=950619 for more info.

I did a WC last night and he REALLY didn't like it, but within 20 minutes he was back to normal. This morning I noticed that his mouth was slightly open OR that he has a hole. I thought maybe he was hungry, so I tried feeding him. He started to take the food, but then let it go. I tried 3 times, but he wouldn't grab it.

Could someone please tell me if this is normal? I've read about them decomposing and holes appearing. I just want to make sure he's ok. I haven't seen this much of his mouth, thus far.

Also, he hasn't moved from the spot I placed him. I know that is supposed to be a sign of health, but is it possible that he could really be too sick to move?

i think at this point your anemone looks fine. keep an eye on the clownfish, make sure she doesnt bruise up your anemone too badly since its just been introduced. i also would lay off the feeding for a few more days, if not a week or so. my bubble tips dont take krill or shrimp very well, typically only silversides, so perhaps thats why it refused the food. nonetheless, let it settle down for a bit longer before another attempted feed.

keep the water quality great, PROTECT YOUR POWERHEADS, and you should be fine.
