BTA Spit out krill

I fed my BTA tonight some jumbo krill shrimp and he spit them out. I just started hand feeding him earlier this week and he took the shrimp with no problem. He looks healthy. Does this just mean he wasn't hungry? I fed him last this past Sunday night.

Ya, it could mean that it wasnt hungry, that it was too big of a piece, mine like little like 1/4 inch pieces of food.... maybe he didnt like the taste of it.? mine dont like silversides at all..... Mine can eat everytwo days, so i dont think that it was that it wasnt hungry. maybe try a smaller, different piece.

What kind of krill? Freeze dried or frozen?

Mine hates freeze dried krill. But loves silversides.
Go figure!

Maybe he just wasn't hungry.

It was frozen. I haven't tried the freeze dried. I am going to pick up some silverslides and try them.
