BTA Split... now looks awful

About 2 weeks ago my 9" GBTA split after a water change and has looked awful since. The larger seems to be holding its own. The mouth has seemed to heal but what once were 6 inch tentacles are now 1. It has no feeding response and drops anything the clowns bring it. Is this normal?

The smaller's mouth seems to be healing pretty well but its also expelling zoa and shriveled to almost unidentifiable size. Is this normal?

Water conditions remain pristine. The GSM pair is trying to host in both.

Thoughts on recent splits that may help wanted. Thanks!

I'm not an anemone expert but it looks like the water parameter changes as a result of your water change stressed your nem and caused it to split. Without additional info though its tough to be sure exactly what caused it.

Perhaps the anemone is to stressed because the poor guy just split and the fish already wants to host it.

Did you do a water change after the split, karenroseanemones gives that as a tip after a anemone split, to help it heal faster.

I hope the anemone pulls trew ;)
