BTA 'Unsplits'

Mine did this exact same thing. It pulled itself apart on one side so mouth was exposed and then stopped and stayed like that for a day. Then my acually rehealed itself back together. And had a line where it and torn apart and rehealed. And yes i moved this anemone and it was one complete piece and then about 2 weeks later it split for real

Another update to this saga might be appropriate. Less than two months after the split, my BTA from hell has split again, this time very quickly, more or less overnight - early this morning actually. A timely coincidence since I'm going to sell/trade one of the clones from the first split at a frag swap in Kamloops tomorrow an hour north of where I live. Give the latest clone a few weeks to mend and I'll have another available to pass on.

Think my rbta may be doing the same thing.
From what ive read the splits start from the center although one night about a week ago i noticed it looked like it had ripped, not sure how as nothing had fallin on it and the theres nothing in the tank that would bug it where it was sitting.

its currently under a col of zoos in a horse shoe shape. Split from the side through the mouth but still hanging on from the other side. Doesnt look like it split from the corner of the mouth either but heres a picture of it. Had to flip the rock up on its side for a moment.

Still looks healthy though..... extends some tentacles out the side of the ledge but remains 80 percent hidden.

let me know what you guys think.
