hey guys i have a gbta and have started noticing that some of the tips have started to turn white, just on the very tip. i can take a pic of it if it will help. has anyone experienced this or know what it is or causing it? its also just on some of the tips that are closest to the mouth. any help would be greatly appreciated.

thanks in advance

a pic would be nice. my rbta tips lighted up then turned right back hows your water qulitly?

i'll get one up, just did a water test:

ph-8.2
no2-0
no3-0
ammonia-0
calcium- 400

i have just a basic test kit.

Calcium and Alk shouldn't really matter, nor should Mg. You might want to check the lighting, or try target feeding krill or mysis.

here is a pic of it, not the greatest.

cloaker, i feed it mysis usually 2-3 time a week since it is kind of on the small side. my lighting is 266 watt PC light. he sits rather low in my tank so i wouldnt think that lighting would be a problem.

I have a gbta and 2 rbta that have white spots like that. I thought it might be scaring from being cut, because they both came from fellow reefers. They were cut with razor blades.
