Hi Guys
can any one tell me how big I can expect my Bubble Tip to grow I have just added him to my reef tank yesterday and he seems to have settled on a rock that has a crevive where he has anchored his foot .My two clown fish are giving the eye at the moment but havent moved in yet. Also I heard that these anemone can split themselves and divide into two is this true and at what stage do they do this. ?

not sure about the growth factor, they do expand and shrink at various times, you can feed it, I have heard some do everyday, some once or twice a week ( silversides, krill, mysis,ect) mine does not eat every day, so i feed about once or twice a week, Yes they can and do split if your params are good and its happy and well fed it will split....

I usually feed my tank once every 2 days using 1 frozen cube of brine shrimp . Which i defrost in half a cup of tank water and then tip into the tank in 3 cosecutive sittings until all has been eaten. My livestock consits of 2 clown fish - 1 Bangi cardinal - 1 Coral Banded Shrimp - 2 astora snails - 2 tropa smails - 1 big coral with pink tipped tentatcles (sorry not well up on proper names). The guy in my LFS reckons I do not need to directyly feed my BTA as it will pick the free floating brine shrimp as they wiz round the tank from the pumps. Wot is your opinion is this correct or wrong...? The coral is doing fantastic under this theory and has been in the tank for approx 3 months and has got heaps larger.
