I just recently got a BTA a few days ago i set him down on a rock about half way down into the tank he held on right away and was looking great, my clarki clown was all over him. Now 2 days later he hanging under a rock where there is shade. What might this reason be.
Bta's like to hide their foot/base in a crevice between two rocks or in a cave or something like that. Then they will extend their tentacles out to get light.
It's probably just acclimating to your light since you just got it. It's normal.
