Will true/false percula host in a bubble anenome? also, what is their level of care? I tried to read through the anenome forum but I kind of got confused.
Thanks.

It's like a crap shoot with perculas hosting an anemone. Some won't host an anemone for over a year, some will host an anemone as soon as you put one in your tank. When I had mine, they would sleep at the top of my water line. Then started to host a hammer and frogspawn coral that I had in the tank for a few months. Took them over a week to start to host a RBTA that I put into the tank. I think though that in due time, they will eventually host an anemone. Now I am looking at your current tank setup, and I don't think an 18g tank is big enough for an anemone. I could be wrong, but mine is pretty much taking over my 75. That is unless you don't plan on having anything else in your tank other than that anemone.

I just put a rbta in my tank about two weeks ago for mine clown fish(false perculs) and they don't even go by the thing. Hopefully they will host soon but I don't see that happening anytime soon they may never host it's up to the fish I quess. It's not that hard to care for, at first it moved around but now it's found a home. I only have PC lighting but good water flow. I feed it shrimp once a week. So far so good I would go for it. Mine is doing good so far not hard to care for at all

I cross my fingers everyday that my clowns will host. Hopefully in time they will, I think it's the coolest thing is to watch them when they host in a anemones

My tank is a 55gal. I just never updated my info.

I have flower anenomes in there now. The little clown that I got from Chuggy hangs out under and around one of them, but I don't think it's the same as hosting the other types.

Thanks for the info.
