Bubble brain coral not doing well...

I re-arranged my tank 2 days ago. My bubble brain touched another coral for about 3 mins (id? look in my gallery-it is the orangish one, not the blasto). Both were stressed. The bb coral has not fully inflated since. He did release some brown stuff yesterday (like poop?). He still inflates but not around the outer edges. There is no other sign like brown jelly disease. Will it recover???

Thanks for any advise folks!

I have a white bubble coral, and it isn't too happy now. it seems to go in stages like that. unless your water is bad, it should recover.

Hmm. Something is amiss, especially if a bubble coral is unhappy. Give tank params, etc, please. IME, bubble corals are nearly indestructible and have one of the strongest stings of any coral. They also seem to be affected very little by any other corals (even anemones). BTW, it should be in moderate to low flow and moderate lighting.

ya i have one as well and it doesn awsome but i keep him atleast 6" away from any other coral because they are very agressive and their tentacles at night can reach up to 6" and will kill anything close so it doesnt have to compete for light. maybe it is siffering from lack of light buecause they need alot of it.

Thanks all. I did a water change last night. Haven't had time to check water params...this morning he was looking better-the pale green bubbles were more green. (Mine is white and pale green)

Amphiprion, which lfs are you at in Mobile? I've been to a couple down there. You are only a little over an hours drive from here.
