Bubble King Impeller Problem

Hi Jeremy, I have a Bubble King Mini 200 and have started to have problems with the impeller of the pump. The Needle wheel keeps sliding forward and gets hung up on the impeller shroud. The magnet of the impeller is basically allowing the shaft to slide forward. Ever heard of that? I have only had it about a year but have cleaned it several times. The last couple of times I had to disassemble the impeller to be able to get all of the calcium out of the bearings. To do that you have to slide the whole thing apart. Except for the needle wheel and shaft of course. The trouble started after reassembling it.

The impeller assembly is not meant to be taken apart. The magnet sits on the shaft at a very precise spot, and is not meant to ever be removed. I'm assuming that when you took the magnet off the shaft for the first time that is extremely hard to remove? It's made to be very tight, and the magnet is not intended to spin around the shaft, but rather the entire assembly spins in the end bearing in the motor block, and the bearing in the impeller cover.

For cleaning, you need to set the pump in a bucket of vinegar for a few hours, letting it soak. I would recommend plugging it in a few times and letting it run for 20 - 30 seconds during this soaking period to break free any calcium deposits in the impeller cover bearing.

Thanks,
Jeremy

Yeah it was difficult to get apart :-) But I'm very capable when it comes to breaking things. Are you able to get replacement impellers if I am unable to fix this one? Thank you!
