Bubble overflow? Skimmer problems.

I have a skimmate collector but I keep getting bubble overload. Suggestions? I really don't want stinky pipes.

If it's huge bubbles instead of a bunch of small ones that indicate too much air? I have never had a protein skimmer this big before.

See what happens if you use less air first & that should tell you something.

I would skim wetter by raising the water level in the skimmer. When you run really dry it tends to come out the top. Wetter bubbles pop easier.

that looks like good skimmate, your water may just be that dirty, or skimmer that under ratted.
