bubble tip completely sucked in? only 1 tentacle out. plz help

i have it under PC's and its been 2 days. It has been fully open both these days. Only change is i turned on a powerhead that i turn off earlier at night. Why would it completely close? The lights couldnt have affected it that fast...

they close up alot, its normal, mine totally closes at night and my clown rests inside it.

this wasnt at night though. and when i say completely closed, i mean you could not see anything but what i think they call it, its foot. i turned off the powerhead and now it seems to be opening a bit more but its still extremely smaller. that took some pressure off me tho

2 days i wouldnt worry i didnt even see mine for a week then it started to inch out into the open, just give it some time

it's getting used to the new water...when they shrink they expel the water they had in them and when they expand back they suck in the new water. this will happen from time to time, or when they poop.

First up get some better lighting

Second, why are you turning your powerhead off at night? The ocean never stops moving. I guess you're doing it to avoid getting the nem sucked into it, in which case you should already have it nem proof in the first place.

I'm sorry if I seem like I'm getting up your case but it really annoys me when people buy an anemone knowing full well they can't have one. These are precious creatures and we shouldn't be keeping them in captivity if all we can provide is "good enough". It may be just okay under PC lighting just like we'd be okay living on just rice and water. We'd live, but we won't like it very much.
