Bubble tip dividing

My bubble tip is in the process of creating a clone of itself. How long does it usually take an anemone to divide? It has been about two weeks since I noticed the clone sprouting off. Also, any reason I should not feed the anemone during this process?

I found that feeding mine hastened the process, I'm not sure if it needed the extra energy boost or what. First I noticed the second mouth form, then over about two weeks I noticed the roundish anemone form more of a figure 8 with a mouth toward each section. I left it alone for a bit, but then finally fed it a silverside. I like to think that the two mouths fought over it and decided to split, because the next morning they were sitting about 3 inches apart.

Ok so my guy seems to be on splitting on schedule. How often are you feeding your anemone? I feed mine silversides or shrimp two times a week.
