Just got this yesterday and it's secreting slime stringy stuff. Is it gone?

I would say that's way beyond the point where treatment could help.
It's pretty much dead and starting to decompose.
Where did you get that from?

That thing is melting...get it out of your tank asap. If you bought it from a local store...take it back and ask for a refund...that is a dead anemone.

Thanks for the feedback all. I got it from liveaquaria. He looked beat up when I opened the box and tried to save it. I pulled it out last night

Call them and ask for a replacement. Their customer service staff is excellent to deal with.
