I just purchased my first bubble tip today and he seems fine soo far he even ate a small piece of cut up shrimp. My lights are 175W MH 14000K and my tank parameters are great 8.2 ph, Salinity 1.024. amonia, nitrite, nitrate all at 0.. phosphates 0, calcium 410, alk 9. My question is he seems to look fine but he has moved himself from the top of the rock he was on to the side of the same rock squashing himself between the rock and the aquarium side wall. Is this normal or should I try and move him from that position?

he's fine. they don't get into squishy situations they can't get out of. you'd likely cause more problems if you tried to move it.
