Does anyone else thats had the same bubble tip nems for years notice the 50/50 splits always have both "new" nems surviving but the 90/10 bud split tends to end in the "new" baby bud disapearing into the rockwork, never to be seen again? The other larger nem quickly grows back to its orginal size and appears none the worse.
Always thought that odd myself. The only bud I've had that is still around I accidently found while vacuming the rocks one time because the siphon sucked him right up and out into the waste barrel. Oddly enough the siphon pulled out his stomach/mouth tissue some and a year or so later he still has this odd deformity around the side of his mouth from it.
