bubble tip

I added a bubble tip to my 40gal that has been up for a year now. It is a nice and stable tank. Problem is the bubble tip after being great for 3 months decided to fall apart and die. Water was good lighting was good it was eating great. It just up and fell apart over a 3 day period. Any ideas on why it would up die?

Tell us more about your system like water parameters, tank mates, equipment and lighting. Do you have a picture of this anemone so that we can see if it was healthy when you got it? What were you feeding it?
