bubbles lots of bubbles

I have a 225gal reef with white sand. no the million dollar question is ... Why are there so so many bubbles in the sand....

salinity 1.024
calcium 400
dkh 5
phos maybe 2
nitrate 0
everything else is good...

i run a 55 sump/fuge...ASM g3, PM CA422 ...i get plenty of flow in the tank...not really any dead spots..i use a GenX mak4 as a return pump,,also i have 2 seio 820s and 2 seio 1100s...so no dead spots,,,but i still seem to have lots of bubbles...should i stir up the sand or just let it bee.....???

nitrogen gas. end result of the nitrogen cycle. Your sandbed is doing its job it sounds like

its working at its own pace especially if this is a new set-up you will have this happen for for about a 2 weeks to a month period.

(if its not broken dont fix it !!! )
