Budding all over the tank

Hello Reefcentral,

I have a 30g saltwater aquarium. Today when I was cleaning the tank I noticed small budding on one of the rocks, however on closer inspection I found them all over my tank even on the glass. I am attaching some pictures for the same.

I tried reading about this and I am not sure if this could be Aiptasia. Please help me out!

looks more like pineapple sponges. harmless filter feeders.

Agreed on the pineapple sponges. They seem to come and go in the systems I've had over the years. In any case, they are harmless.

+1, I have them now as well. Don't seem to hurt anything. Kinda cool as long as they don't get out of hand.
