Build thread of the Monterey Marinland 265 84x24x30

I have the Marine land Monterey 125 gal. One thing I did to it that you might like is I put window tint on the sides of the overflow to black out the view of the overflow and return pipes. It gives it a clean smooth look if you do it right.

This is the exact same tank and stand that I'm looking to upgrade also. I'm tired of the black stands and wish I could have found that color stand and canopy. I only took it because I also got a great deal at $800 for tank stand and canopy still on the pallet.

Following along......

Nice Raptor. Hope you got long arms. ( ; I really like the 30" tall viewing area although I cant reach the bottom. If you make a build thread, please post it here, ill follow along. thanks

The only thing I don't like is the height of the stand. I wish it was higher so that I wouldn't have to stoop to watch my tank. The 30" height sounds nice. I could see it being a bother for those of us who can't keep our hands out of our tanks.

Really? Wonder if we have different stands. Mine is 34" tall. I dont stoop at all.

Couple of my favorite SPS. Strawberry Shortcake and Blue Tort. Slip and slide put the shortcake in happy mode. Finally! it decided to color up and grow.

Small sump frag rack could not keep up with growth. Incorporated 10 gallon frag tank.

I now appreciate zoas more with ability to look at them 5" from my face, top down. Also can keep them in check so they cant spread all over the tank.

One of my first fishes. Survived several tank moves and has had many different owners.

This fish will host anything. Currently likes the Weirdo Chalice in the early morning hours.

At This point that clown must have a name!

amazing photo's! keep posting!

oh and my usual request, full tank shots!

Thanks raptor, 30 inches tall is tough for me to get to bottom, but the viewing area is nice

Ian. Thanks. I'm enjoying photos, but have alot to learn still.

Avandss. The fish does have a name. The prior owners bought to see if the clownfish would survive while cycling the tank, they named him "Tester".

Yea, I got to try full tank shot. Always a challenge.
