Building a refugium

Hello, I currently have a 55 gallon tempered glass display tank and would like to add a 20 gallon refugium, but I don't know what materials I would need. There was a warning on my display tank specifically stating not to drill the glass. Any recommendations on how to build the refugium and the materials needed?

Your glass is most likely tempered if there is a warning, so no you would not be able to drill.
Normally we add a fuge in conjunction w/ a sump, though some do just a fuge.
A sump is a wonderful thing if you do not have one.
There are some decent HO overflows out there if you are not drilled.
A HO fuge can have some benefits as well and you may want to look at that idea.
Agree, DIY has a lot of helpful ideas and folks, may want to check there.
