Bulb recommendation

Have a nova extreme 8x54watt ho light fixture that I am sending back. I'm on my 4th unit as the ballast keep going out. I'm going to go with the Tek 6x54w with individual reflectors. Unit does not come with lights and I need some recommendations. Was looking at the Giesemann powerchrome bulbs.

They have 5 different ones to choice from. As corals go I have 2 kenya trees, 2 birds nest and some zoo's. I'll be adding more as i go and want to be able to keep almost anything in my 75g.

I prefer the ATI bulbs over the giesman bulbs. depends on the color you want.
3 actinic plus 2 aquablues and a super actinic will give a good amount of par and a nice 14 to 20 k look
you could swap out the super actinic and go with a midday and get a more 10 to 12k look. But mix it up
I have tried more bulbs than I know what to do. I would suggest 4 ati blue plus a uvl 75 25 or actinic white or fij puple , and a ati aquablue special. I Think this will give you plenty of par.

online, Reefgeek, DIYreef, aquarium specialty or premium aquatics all carry a full line of these bulbs. Just ask gondore and phil they have seen my lights and atest to the variance of bulbs I have tried. Mojo~

He has gone through a crazy amount of bulbs. Infact I have some of them now. he has a nice color in his tank, that I hope to get as well.

Is this what you are suggesting for my 8 bulb Tek light?? Just want to be clear before I place the order as I'm very ignorant when it comes to the color of these bulbs. Thanks for all your help

I thought it was 6 and I would get 4 ati blue plus 1 aquablue special and 1 actinic white or the fiji purple, or another aquablue special.

so you are getting the 8 blulb huh? here is how I would place them
front
blue+
aquablue
fiji
blue +
aquablue
blue+
actinic white
blue +

Should give you a good balance.
