Well, Thanks for the thread. I have gotten 8 names required to sign up for the deal. I sent Andy a thank you from the club tonight along with the names below. If you were interested in the deal and didn't get in on time my vote is to add new members if there is enough demand (3 people or more) or once every 2-3 months. This will keep us from hammering Andy at BRS every month.

Everyone who is in on this should have received an email from Andrew at BRS this morning informing them of their inclusion on the buy and confirming the dates of September 22-28 to get their orders in.

Thanks Ken. I was so busy at work today I didn't even get the email until just now. I hope everyone who signed up will be able to take advantage of it. Also, once again I would like to thank Bulk Reef Supply and Andrew for supporting the clubs.

I admire what Andrew has done. It is hard enough to run a business and this shows he takes the time to support fellow reefers.

I know i will be buying much more from them in the future just because of this.

You get the discount everytime you order. I just ordered GFO and got the discount

The members who signed up will get the following discounts:

One week per month, for us the 22nd through the 28th, the discount will be equal to the max quantity discount. So even if you buy one it costs the same as the max qty discount.

The rest of the time you will get preferred pricing which is described by Andrew as the following:

"Preferred Customer Pricing: Each participant receives automatic and permanent Preferred Pricing for future orders, which is generally between retail and group buy prices. This upgrade will automatically happen at the end of your group buy week and is only available for participants who signed up for the group buy."

I hope this is clear so get your orders in before the 28th or you will have to wait a full month. I will announce this at the next meeting.

Bye the way if you look at the prices on BRS without being a registered member you will see a ptice range on most items. The lowest price is what club members get and you don't have to do a group buy. You get the discount when you log in and place the order.
