Bulkhead Torque Specs

Just tighten as tight as you can with your hand you dont want to use tools they can damage the bulkhead or your tank.
 
if you still see a leak after hand tightening, don't be tempted to use a tool. the gasket may not be seated properly. hand tight should not leak.
 
Hand tighten till its tight enough, then just a tad more.

No, really. IMHO this is one of those things you cant put a number on.
 
LOL! Not even my car wheels go that tight. :)

The usual manufacturer recommendaion is hand tighten, then no more than a quarter turn.

Lol I know!!!! thats a nice turbo u got there I just worked on one yesterday it needed a new Ignition switch the key was getting stuck I love porches
 
It the bulkhead flange is on the water side, you really don't need to tighten it much at all, the water should push the bulkhead in and seat the gasket properly.
