Hey RC,

i purchased a pair of Picassos from Doni about 3 weeks ago. they were about 1 1/4" when I received them.
One of the clown is very very bully, I don't really know if it's normal or not. It chase the other one around the tank, won't let him be in piece. i know they're doing this to decide which one will be the female and dominate(just like in real life..:-) They were together in the first 2 weeks, but now they're pretty much separated, and going on their own ways:-( Still the bully one keep attacks him.
Anyways..I checked the fins a gails and both of the fishes are fine. Also both of them still has good appetite.
Should I worry or not?
Thanx in advance!

I would not worry AT THIS POINT!Now if the bully starts to become VERY mean and starts to shread fins and pin the subbmisive(male?)on the sand bed then actions would then need to be taken! But at this point I see nothing but typical clown behavior!

Appreciate your feedback!

I still have good faith that one day they'll become buddies:love2:

That's what happened to me too, I have a pair of picassos also and one if them would just beat up the other one till he became submisive.

Thanx a lot for all the feedbacks!
It's actually getting better ever since. It has been long time I've had clowns, and thought better if I ask, before it's too late.
One of my baby got hosted by my duncan, and i just saw him bringing food to the coral. it's pretty cool.
Thanx again everyone.

A true symbiotic relationship.....When i saw that the first time i thought it was so cool....

Things did not work out too well. still got both of the Pics, but I couldn't stand it any longer so last last night I net the bully guy. I hardly ever seen the other clown, because he was always hiding behind or under the rocks.
The feeding time was a nightmare.
Question. How long should I keep her in "jail"? Should I ever try again to release her back into the tank? Any advice is truly appreciated!

Ps: now seems like the calm clown try to stay close to net where the other one is. Hmmm...

Yeah, sure. Is that a problem you think? man, I so upset about this. both of them are so beautiful, with very unique patterns.

Well the point I was getting to is DFS paired the MCs clowns by putting the bully in a speciman cup were the other clowns could always see the other clown in the cup.I will say that I dont think that you should be so worried and upset.I think I will just take time.Time is the key to every thing in this hobby.FOR SURE!
