We'll be meeting at Aquatic Treasures between 7:00 and 8:00PM.

Velko said that he will be revamping his large display tank and removing the corals that currently occupy the tank. He said that he has some "show" corals that will need to go.

He will be offering 20% off to all club members on all corals in the store that night.

We haven't been to see Velko in a while so let's give him a crowd to contend with.

We also have a club member ( saltyshoe_nano ) working at AT now so it might be a perfect opportunity for those who have not met him to do so ( if he's working that night ) and maybe work him to a frazzle.

Nothing against pizza, but Fortel's has gotten old and that big doughboy all-you-can-eat thing didn't sound very tasty from those trying it. Are there any restaurants off the beaten track over in Fairview Heights that have some flare to them? Any good wing places or pizza places that might offer something just a tad less plain than the places we have visited in the past?

I know their is a Hooters a few blocks from Velko's. Might be a 5 minute drive. Other choices are Mexican (I know a few members don't do mexican), or the steak houses.
Homework allowing, I might be able to make this one. Hopefully.

yeah theres a hooters a few blocks up the road, and a buffalo wildwings about 3 - 4 miles away....lots of steak houses,and a phazolies..sp? a few miles down the road....

well, to tell you the truth, all that is left in the main display is the giant leather....and a few fish, I think they are sold, all the coral that was smaller in the tank has been transfered to the coral tanks and will be 20% off, we got a few new anenomes..sp? today and a bunch of fish....angles, tangs, and a few others....lots of nice shrooms in the coral tank...oh and we got some clams and scalibs..sp? nook definately come down! Id like to meet ya and its only like a 30 min drive! maybe 45

I've heard some pretty good things about the Lottawatta Creek Grill. Lonnie said it's great and the servings are Nook sized. Should we give it a shot?

Hot Shots is just down the road in O'Fallon. They have pizza and wings. The pizza left something to be desired for me, but I remember the wings being pretty decent. The nice looking waitresses make up for the pizza a bit. There is also an Imos in Fairview.
That big display at AT emptied out in a hurry. Adding to nano's comment, I'm not sure that Giant describes that ENORMOUS leather. That thing had to over two feet across.
