Burn on leather

I recently had a toadstool rub up against a heater. Though it fully expands, there is a burned area where tissue seems to be sloughing off a little bit. Will it heal by itself or is there any remedy for it (some sort of dip or application)?

if its burned from a heater just cut off the burned area bij scissor and give the wound some flow... it will heal after a while and make new polyps at that place...(same like fragging)
