Butterfly Fish Pairs

I've seen the tinkers and semilarvatus pairs before. Does DD ever get any of the more common butterflies in as pairs? Like saddlebacks? Auriga? Or some of the smaller species, like melannotus, ocellicaudus, paucifasciatus, etc.?

My guess is there isn't really the monetary incentive to bother keeping collected pairs together, for the inexpensive specimens?

We appreciate your patience while we researched your inquiry. According to our Aquaculture Coral & Marine Life Facility, it is fairly rare to see the more common Butterflyfish species available in pairs due to limited holding capacity throughout the chain of custody. In this instance, it is generally safer to house 10-20 Butterflyfish in a single tank compared to finding suitable pairs housed in separate holding tanks.
