That is up to you,but if you do leave it up off the floor 6-12" incase it ever floods.drywall can dry but the insulation wont and will cause mold.also you DO NOT WANT A VAPOR BLOCK,that will also cause mold and moisture. I do drywall for a living and have made thousands over the years fixing stuff because of vapor blocks.

Thanks for the tip! I was really hesitant to using it cause thought it might be unnecessary and cost. I had no clue it could actually lead to problems down the road! I'll be sure to steer clear from that stuff!!! :thumbsup:
