Buying packs online

Who sells packs online that you have used before and are happy with? I just set up a bigger tank and I've never purchased coral online and it shipped before. I would like to use a site that I could build a pack or they have packs already made. Just trying to add a few nice sps once my new lights are set up.

LA sells some small SPS packs, ASD does as well. I was happy with the chalice selection ASD sent as part of a package but the zoa pack wasnt as nice.

Battle Corals and Rocky Mountain Frags are two that I would highly suggest. Most others do a lot of hacking up wild colonies and selling them as aqua cultured frags, so coloration and their health are questionable...

You get what you pay for. BC has some of the best homegrown corals available. Very healthy and worth the price. I have heard good things about RMF too.

I will second that. Adam from Battle Corals is a great guy and has awesome corals. Highly recommended.

Thanks for all the replies! Like mentioned before I've never ordered online before so I appreciate the replies and seeing some names repeated make me feel more comfortable. I will wait a few weeks to get my tank dialed in and I'll see who has the pack I like the most.

You can build any pack you want with Adam at battlecorals.

Cherry corals is nice but I have spent 1800 in two orders with not a single freebie sent with either in order. I even complained and nothing was done. Corals looked good and healthy though. Pics are a tad saturated but that's it. IMO freebies and healthy coral keep me coming back. As well as unusual corals and I am not giving my secrets for finding thoes :)

unique corals, cherry corals, LA, vividaquariums, bluezooaquatics, marinedepotlive, reefgardener. Good experience with all but can say unique corals looked the best on arrival and also were the largest sized frags for the money.

Honestly the best place for frags are from local reefers. Do you have a club local to you? The quality, size and price of frags from your buddies are always better than from a vendor.

Yes I have a local club that I'm a part of and actually purchased some coral from someone here. I always went local but now there are specific pieces that I want and I can find them easier online.

Totally agree! I would also suggest Age of Aquariums as well. All 3 aren't cheap but their frags are healthy, rare, and keep their color.
