got the stand home from the builders to make sure it all fits together before heading off to the painters, here's a coupe of pics taken from my phone (sorry for the quality !)
once i got the box open, everything is well packed and wrapped in bubble wrap (i had already unwrapped the pump)
my first thoughts are wow the skimmers alot bigger than i thought it was going to be.

the skimmer was easy to assemble and fully comes apart for cleaning. It seems to be made well. only thing that i wounder about at this stage is the water valve adjuster seems like it would possibly be easy to break but we'll see

running in freshwater, will fill the sump up with NSW over the weekend and see what it runs like in that
it has a unique output (bottom right hand of pic), its under the body and produces no bubbles under the bubble plate
so far so good, let hope it can preform as good as they say! will update about the skimmer over the weekend,
got the sump stand surround back tonight so it can go to the painters now,
once its all back from the painters i can fill the tank up and get the cycle started here's a couple of quick pics (the doors etc weren't aligned in these pics)

Update
Got the stands back and all setup into place. Everything was painted in 2k white with a white pearl then clear coated, just a matter of filling the tank and getting everything all started. So here's a couple of pic's as of last night
