ok so I have the sump stand frame built, and got the light hood built as well,
tank and sump is all plumbed up and leak tested... no leaks which is a bonus!!
just waiting for the tank stand to be painted then can fill up and get the cycle going,
here's a couple of pics along the way taken on my phone sorry for the mess in the background

more toys..... 
once i got the box open, everything is well packed and wrapped in bubble wrap (i had already unwrapped the pump)
my first thoughts are wow the skimmers alot bigger than i thought it was going to be.

the skimmer was easy to assemble and fully comes apart for cleaning. It seems to be made well. only thing that i wounder about at this stage is the water valve adjuster seems like it would possibly be easy to break but we'll see

running in freshwater, will fill the sump up with NSW over the weekend and see what it runs like in that
it has a unique output (bottom right hand of pic), its under the body and produces no bubbles under the bubble plate
so far so good, let hope it can preform as good as they say! will update about the skimmer over the weekend,

small update
got some new t5 bulbs (sorry for the quality my phone couldn't handle the blue in the first pic)
1x KZ new gen + 1x KZ super blue on only
1x KZ new gen + 1x KZ fiji purple on only
all four bulbs on
really liking the colors of these bulbs, hopefully they make the corals look nice
so the total bulbs i will run are
1x KZ Fiji purple
1x KZ super blue
2x KZ new gen
1x 400w MH
