just got some boxes from you and it looks like you got rid of the only reason i used you guys. bio digradable peanuts. anyways i can get better prices else where so. ill be watching to see if you switch back but till then its bye bye

if you added an option for diodigradable peanuts for a small fee im sure people would pay. especialy in florida where we have these ugly ducts that knock over garbage and spred the peanuts all over the place lol

Your concerns are valid and troubling for a company that makes its money off marine life that is severly impacted by the use of peanuts. Given the nature of the product being shipped, there is n o reason why they can't use schreaded newpaper etc. This crap floats in the ocean and kills fish, sea lions and sea birds. MD should think this thru.

I think the world has bigger problems than peanuts!! Recycle them yourself if its that big a deal!!

Not real bright. The world includes the oceans and its inhabitents. How can anyone tuned into marine fish and reefs not see this as a valid issue.?

This is a "Sponsored forum" area on Reef Central. Marine Depot uses this area to discuss real time issues with their current and prospective customers as well as answer product questions.

This is not a general discussion forum. If you have a first hand customer issue with them please start your own thread. If you'd like to discuss this problem from a vendor neutral position, our "Responsible Reefkeeping" would be an excellent venue.

Cheers
