C-Sea TOTM Contest

Effective this month, we will be offering $25 in raffle tickets to the member selected for TOTM on the C-Sea website (www.c-sea.org). The winner each month will be selected at random so if you send in your picks to Chuck (chuckw at c-sea.org) you have a chance of winning. The only entrance requirement is that you are a current member in good standing.

The goal here is to get members to actively participate and show off your tanks rather than compete as to whose is better.

Out of those submissions we receive, we will offer a grand prize (TBD) for Tank of the Year which will be determined by vote.

Oh common, just because you have the best looking tank you suggest up a Grand Prize. I vote right now that the President is excluded from the tank of the year ;). Or if you win I get the prize, sounds fair.

LOL I am flattered, however, I there are plenty tanks in NE Ohio that will put mine to shame. However, we'll never know if they don't show 'em off!

my little softie tank is hopelessly lost among all your giants. do we need to send new pics or are we using the pics on line already in the members tank section?

For those who have nice 'little' tanks full of color or an unusual layout - we'd love to see them. Sure big tanks are awesome-Perhaps those who have them feel the need to have a sprawling ranch. Some folks like a smaller 'gentlemans' farm'. So- please if it is a Nano, 50g, 75g or larger send in a picture. Its your interpretation of how you like to see your bit o' reef. Liken it to a canvas; The corals, fish, etc are the paints for the picture. And by showing off your reef- It may help somebody getting their tank set up. It may also give you the opportunity to advise those who admire your tank. And everybody certainly loves to talk about their stuff. -------- And remember David beat the giant Golaith with one little stone!!!

Unfortunately, until I can live on a coast, my reef will never be big enough.

We all put a lot of work and $ into our tanks, whether it be a nano or a large reef and so we felt the website would be a good place for everyone to proudly display the fruits of their labors.

We may toy around with the separating TOTY by categories (nano, etc.). However, it will largely depend on finances available. Again, the intent isn't necessarily to create a competition but encourage everyone to show off their stuff and in turn promote the C-Sea website.

Thanks for the heads up John
