Yeah you can go to any place that sells Beer Kegs. They usually have C02 available. I have my tank refiller at Mr. Kegs in Huntington Beach. When you get your tank filled, don't forget to ask for the plastic washer that creates the seal between your regulator and the tank's Sherwood Valve. THey usually give it to you for free.

1st off they are wverywhere and all you do is walk in put your money on the counter with the empty bottle and they give you a new full bottle.. it takes 30 sec and you are out..

Ah ok I'll see if there's one near me. Do I have to buy one of their tanks in order to do the exchange or can I bring my current one?

Just dont trade in your aluminum . Youll get a metal one. They are usually ugly. There are other places that refill your original tank.
Five Star Gas .

You can take it to the Airgas by the City of Hope, they can fill it there. When you go, open an account, the price should be cheaper.

i guess i should have opened an account. oh wells, it was pretty fast and around $22

that wouldn't be too bad for a 20 pound tanks....They have different rates that are kind of stupid. I've paid as low as 8.50 and they've tried to charge me as high as 30 bucks to fill my 10 pounder.

so here's the deal...Most CO2 and tanks we see at the welding shops are used for welding. The welders need the cleanest possible tanks and CO2 they can get. I work for the largest soft drink company in the world, I see truck loads of gas come in everyday. The stuff used for welding, soda and in hospitals is all the same. The tanks might be different sizes but what's inside is the same. I'd think about upgrading your tank and swaping it out the next time. You'll save lots of cash over time.

I was more interested, when the time comes to use airgas and hope to trade my 15lb steel tank for a alum one hehe. My current tank weighs a ton especially trying to manuever it inside my cramped space.
