Cabinet for 180g

I recently bought an AGA 180g tank and I'm planning the design for the cabinet. Where I work, I have access to structural steel fabrication and welders. I was thinking of having the frame of the cabinet that the tank sits on made of welded aluminum. My first question is would the aluminum be ok and second, how would I attach an oak face frame to the aluminum structure?
Thanks

Refer to the DIY forum. I built my cabinet from wood, but aluminum is fine. To attach the wood facing, you can pre-drill hole in the AL frame and use alumium wood screws from the inside to fasten the wood facing.

Here is how I would do it. Build the AL frame. Drill holes around the AL frame front and sides. Build the wood facing, sides and bottom. Attach to frame.

see the above attachment. Imagine the drak wood the AL.
