Hello all, I hope things are well in your Reef Worlds!!! Here's a video update of my 8 gallon...I've now added a Sixline Wrasse to help clean some little critters from the tank. Depending how he does, I may leave him in for a while. Enjoy!

Not sure if the CAD Lights 22 qualifies for the "mini" series, but after doing some research it seems the manufacturer has dealt with most of the issues mentioned in this thread with the 2013 series.

I purchased the 2013 22Gal Super Output about a week ago and have lots of high hopes on it... Received the stand a couple days back and a message from customer service saying they had to pack the tank on a crate and I should have it by next monday :bounce1:

I am doing research full time before I move in to this new pico for me.
What filtration comes with the 4 gallon? Like how does it work, what's behind the acrylic.
And will the Hydor offered on the website when you order it be a good idea?

I contacted them, and asked them about the back acrylic breaking...
They told me that they have not had any issues with the newer ones they have been getting.

Is the Hydor worth getting? LFS told me that eventually they clog up, to just save the money and buy a Koralia nano

the Hydor pumps are good, they just need maintenance like any other pump... But yes, Koralia and Tunze are better.

I ordered the 4 gallon CAD but I accidentally put federal states of Micronesia instead of Florida -_-

So I emailed them and left them a voicemail to fix that..!

I think they should manage to fix it on their own when they notice the zip code though.

Hey everyone, how are the Cadlights doing!? I had a very busy summer and unfortunately the tank fell down the priority list :headwally:. Only real issue was a large infestation of bubble algae. I was finally able to put some serious work in the last few days and have it somewhat back on track. I think a little time and some WC's will do wonders. I will update soon with pics. Anyone else still rocking these beauties?!

Yep! i just ordered the 18G Mini with the NR-1 Nano bio-reactor. went through almost every tank on the market and still came back to my first pick. hopefully with the new Nano bio reactor, i can avoid algae outbreaks.

gonna get it real soon and will post some pics. this strangely is more exciting than my big tank

Is anyone running the stock LEDs on their 4, 8 or 12g? What type of coral are you having success with. I have the 12g and am wondering what type of coral I can grow (not just keep living) with the stock lights. Anyone?

Called them and changed order to 8 gallon. Figure I will end up with a fish.

I got the 8g and its almost at the end of its cycle, hopefully I'll have some pics to show when I have some more livestock. I'm running a BoostLED par 30 on it.
