calcium dispenser failure

Hi. I bought a calcium dispenser last saturday - worked well first day, but I've been having problems ever since. main issue is that the RO water in the container where the calcium dispenser is located, gets polluted with kalk from the dispenser (ie. dispenser leaks into the RO container). This has happened more than once. Reason being that the little "one way" valve connecting the osmolator pump to the dispenser allows water from the dispenser to flow back to the RO container. I cleaned the valve and it appears to work properly, but after osmolator pumps water through it, the little spring gets like displaced, and does not close properly. I'll take it back to the shop for replacement - but is there any 'trick' I can use the next days to keep me going until the shop gives me a replacement?

ps. thanks for the other reply I got today to my 7240 whistling issue.

I had an issue awhile back with mine creating back pressure from lots of use and they told me "The check valve we use is the same one offered by Hagen" and I could use that. I was also told that any air line check valve would work so you may see if a lFS has either one till you get it looked at. I put a Hagen one on mine and its been working like normal again

I have found a new check valve that we will be switching to, so this problem will be a thing of the past but it will take a few months to get the new valves in and production changed to include them. This new valve is an industrial valve that will open at the low pressure but seal better and be very resistant to the kalkwasser solution. For now, you can use any airline check valve, the only valves I don't recommend is the one offered by Rena or Schego, they have too much back pressure.
