Calcium Dispenser Question

I bought a calcium dispenser to go with my osmolator and I'm not sure which direction the non-return valve is supposed to go. The instructions make it appear that water flows in the black portion and exits the clear section. But looking at the valve, isn't water supposed to push the stop so it should be in the clear out the black? Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

jlt23,

The quickest method with check valves to check direction is to simply blow through the valve you will be able to blow one direction but not the other.

I tried that and couldn't feel any air on either side. Maybe I wasn't blowing hard enough. I'll give it a try tonight.
Thanks

Water goes in on the clear side and out on the black side, be sure the check valve is above the reactor by using the zip tie to form the loop shown in the instructions.
