So I got some Kalkwasser mix to up my calcium lvl. It has been in the low 300's. How the hell do I add this stuff :)

Go easy on me im a newb.

Its Kent Marine kalk mix btw.

Mix 1-2 teaspoons per gallon of RO/DI. Let it sit at least an hour (overnight is better) and drip it. If you can't drip it... definitely don't add more than a cup or 2 at a time or your PH will spike. Kalkwasser is really only good to maintain Ca and Alk levels, not raise them. To raise it back up to a better level you will need to add calcium chloride and an ALK supplement or better yet a 2 part solution like Kent Tech-CB or Randy's two-part solution.

Randy can do a better job explaining in the reef chemistry forum, but here are some articles you should read first. Don't worry if you don't understand something, we will do our best to help.
