Calcium reactor and media questions.

my bad....zeomag, it needs to be broken down in a reactor the same as the calcium media. It uses co2 to break down into a usable mag source.

I don't think anyone local carries it yet? I got mine at IMAC 2 years ago.

I don't believe anyone carries it locally. I stopped in at Phishy in Columbus during my travels and they carry it.

Rowalith Course its the best, you can buy it in bulk( any amount you want) from Marvin at D&D the aquarium solution, its phosphate free supposedly...

ARM is not.


Zeomag comes from Koralin zucht dealers or from ZEOvit USA.

So now my question if it needs to be used in a reactor does it have to be in a seperate reactor or can it be added to the existing media in a Calcium reactor?

It can be added along with calcium media in a common reactor. They recommend 10-30% of the total capacity of the reactor. I am currently running closer to the 10% range.
