so i finally got my co2 tank filled up. now i went to set my controller and it is reading at 8.52

i dont know if this is bad or good but after reading some things on the internet, i decided to set it up like this: am i wrong or right?

setpoint 6.5
offset: .2
high/low: high

can anyone tell me if this is right?

its a ph controller from reef fanatic.

and bubble counter is at about a bubble per second.

I have mine set the same with the exception of .5 hist. I did start out for the first couple days at 6.80, constantly testing alk to see where it was and what levels were being added.

I would also make sure your starting ph is correct. It appears your probe is reading to high and if it is then your set point will be to low and you media will turn to mush.

i pretty much gotta start this thing from scratch then and learn how to use it. i had my fish guy set it up (when i had one months ago) so no clue how to even use this thing. finally thought i got it set up right and now it has a leak at the top. gonna try and unscrew it right now and check the o ring. wasnt leaking two weeks ago but its been off since then so hope i didnt mess anything up. any advice appreciated and thnk you the ones so far :)

all is well in the world again as i got the leak to stop with a simple cleaning of the o ring and re seated it. thnx again all for the info hopefully i got this thing right as my controller is now reading 7.5 again after i set it up again. will test over the next week to make sure i did everything right and tweak adjustments accordingly. so nice to have such nice fish friends on this forum. wouldnt know what to do without u guys :)
