Calcium reactor witch one?

Got a question, lets say im feeding the reactor with a maxi-jet 400 that is 110 gph, the effluent is much less than the powerhead, will it create a pressure inside the reactor since there is more water coming in than its coming out?

Yes, but not enough to do anything. The GEO is more than sufficiently sealed to handle a weak maxi-jet 400. This technique works well (ran mine for over a year this way), but branching off of a return pump works as well.

I know most on this post are geo nuts, but the korallin 1502 is also a stellar choice. I absolutely love mine. The best part is, you can snag them used from locals or people parting their systems for around $350 complete with tank, regulator & controller as the 1502 has been out forever and a day.

Ok so the reactor is setup and running, to be able to keep the ph at 6.8 i had to set the bpm to almost 90, is that ok?

The effluent is 50ml / minute!

The reactor is on my aquacontroller junior and the config is:

If ph is lower then 6.75 off
if ph is higher then 6.85 on

For startup you only need 30BPM and effluent is 50ml / minute.
If your KH still dropping increase 30 to 40 BPM (CO2 not effluent)
And test the water in 24hours; keep adjusting until you get what you want. I have the same unit with pH controller it set: On 6.7 off 6.8. Good luck.

If i wanna keep the ph inside the reactor at 6.7 i need at least 90 bpm to keep the alk at 10 dkh and calcium at 440, effluent is 30 ml/minute!
