Calcium reactors - Geo or Octopus

Do you carry the new style Octopus reactors? the picture does not show. How do you compare the Octopus and the Geo? Seems hard to spend that much more for Geo. I have a 300 gallon total system.
Do you carry the dual octopus? or is that just overkill?

What about a package with the octopus reactor? I already have an AC3 but would need additional probe, media, valve, solenoid and maybe tank. I'm not sure if better to get tank here because they don't always refill but exchange.

maybe the octopus is not as much savings over the geo as I might think.

We will have the newer style Octopus reactors in about 3-4 weeks. We have not used there brand yet, but GEO compared to Koralin and PM brand, seems to be the best quality and easiest to use. We probably sell 10 to 1 with the GEO brand. They just seem to be built just right and on something like a reactor, i would go with pretty high quality, becasue it sits external and it really should last forever if you don't have any accidents.

On the dual, i would ask around for other opinions, but we have talked with GEO about a dual reactor and according to him it really does not add much benift, you just can't circulate enough co2 enriched water through the 2nd chamber, so it really doesn't add much capacity. I think you would be better off going with a larger diameter reactor or taller, then a double chamber one.

If you do want the Octopus though, we would be happy to work out a package deal on one.
