Cali tort color question

Under what circumstances might a cali tort lose all its green coloration and go all blue?

Mine has blue body and green tip it's right under the 400 wt radium and it's started going all blue when I moved it

By the way this is one diesel piece mine grows like it's on roids

Mine gets more blue under more intense lighting. I have a few in my tank and the ones that are lower down or off to the sides get greener, 2 are directly under the 250w 12k bulbs, high up and they are mostly blue. Definately one of the most hardy corals in my tank.

x2 ..and it's one of the first corals I look at when I suspect an alk problem

I don't even know what.this statement means..

My cali tort is a pretty fast grower as well. And I notice that the higher it is in the tank the more blue it becomes.

LOL I thought it meant fast growing.

Unfortunately after turning all blue, mine subsequently lost all PE and now have STN. Up until this they were AMAZING growers. I hope they turn around.
