Calling all Deltec MCE600 owners

I have an mce300 that recently bit the dust. I loved the skimmer except it had pump restarting issues that despite many attempts were never resolved. I always had to blow down the airline to get the impeller going.

So my question is does the aquabee pump in the mce600 also have restarting issues? I am not worried about it getting a syphon by itself, but I do not want to deal with pump/pinwheel issues when restarting the pump. Can those of you with this skimmer share your experiences. Thanks!

no it can restart itself. much better than the 300.

I've had a deltec mce600 for about 5 yrs now... it was pricey at the time but well worth it. It still think it's the best hang-on skimmer I've seen/used/heard about.
