Time of the month again to do my "Animal of the Month" and guess what I chose for this month's article ;)? Any owners of Echinophyllia aspera, echinata, costata, echinoporoides or orpheensis please by all means submit your critter for me!

For this, youll perpetually preserve your animal in colored print in our next months article as well as save me from any copyright infringements ;)

You may have noticed my post for pocillopora last month and had a great participation level(even long after the need was there ;) ) thanx again to all that joined the thread. The chose pictures owner will receive a complimentary newsletter with proper credits to account ownership of picture and animal, as well as be able to look it up and share with friends from our websight.

All I ask is that the animal and picture be yours, ideally with a watermark signature and a high resolution copy to prove. So, with that said, SHOW ME WHAT YOU GOT!!:D :D

Here it is at night with it's sweepers out

Thats what I thought too. But where I saw it was listed as SPS in frags.org and no other article I could find referred to it as an LPS or SPS. Do you know of a resource where I could find it classified as LPS?Thank you for your attention.

Make sure you give these guys plenty of room, they extend some nasty sweepers at night. Here is the aftermath of a Ricordia that got a little too close.

Thats the current issue standing as far as that goes, not a punk at all unless you CANT prove its an SPS ;).If you read a few lines up

Frags.org is what you are citing as a reference?

Okay, that sounds a lil punkish:rolleyes: But, to answer your question no I didnt cite them as a reference because theres nothing to refer to them for.Of course I did the google search after the reefcentral search(once it was back up), along with wetwebmedia, and whelks/aim to name a few. With proper credits of course, but none of these reputable resource has turned up a difinitive answer.

Now, how bout a sincere answer instead of snappy questions?

Will be away from the bulk of my files (and desktop) for a while so this is the best I can do.
