Calling all pests

I'm looking for nearly any pest I can get my hands on. Planaria are covered, but any sundials, AEFW's, zoa nudis, monti nudis, other flatworms (especially parasitic), mantis shrimp, Eunicid worms, fire worms, etc. Wanted for research.

TIA

I've got red bugs! Treating this week. If you were closer You are welcome to them before I treat! If you want them that is.

Hmmm. I don't think I'll be in that area today (wife's birthday, so I'd get shot for even thinking it;)). I appreciate the offer, though. I wonder if a piece broken of and dropped in the mail would make it long enough to keep the RB's alive???

No. The last coral I put in my tank came from liveaquaria. But that was in June/July and I just noticed them Friday. I look at my tank every day for a long time and I don't know how I missed them before Friday.

i got a tank w/ red flatworms if you wanna run over and get some. it's my 30g that i took down last friday. there's about 2" of water still in the tank, no water circulation, but there are some still alive. if you act quick, they'll make it. i will probably drain it in the very NEAR future.

pests?

pests?

I found a small crab in one of our acros... right now he is in a specimen cup do you want it? he has a pale blue body and red claws?he is stressed right now.... I am not sure it can ship? but willing to try it.... does it need to be alive???? for your research?
Kathy

Hey Kathy,

Alive would be best. If it's still doing okay Monday, let me know and we'll see about shipping it. These guys seem to have some room for storing the critters they get (of course, they aren't pests to them, though, so they probably all go into the same tank to so they can see what the pests do naturally). If Jenn wouldn;t kill me, I'd have a bunch of little 1 gallon tanks tied into a pest system for undesirables:). She still doesn't understand the Eunicid worm having it's own tank (well, it shares with the mantis, but are separated by plexi). Ahh, the strange and unusual...

The small crab with red claws and blue body sounds like a commensal crab on acropora, don't you think? It it is, it's a beneficial one not a pest.

I got some zoa eating nudis if you want them LMK asap as I wont keep them real long. Im not local but know how to ship. Right now Ive got 3 adults and 2 babies. Im sure I will find more tho. :(
