Calling all pests

I'm looking for nearly any pest I can get my hands on. Planaria are covered, but any sundials, AEFW's, zoa nudis, monti nudis, other flatworms (especially parasitic), mantis shrimp, Eunicid worms, fire worms, etc. Wanted for research.

TIA

Mantis aren't pests. If anyone has a mantis they want to get rid of, I'd buy it.

Sounds like an interesting research project :)

I've got a Eunicid and Mantis sharing a (sectioned) tank. They are really fun to watch. You know you are constantly being watched by the mantis if you are anywhere in the area of the tank. The Eunicid is always fun for gross out response when someone sees it;).

Some grad level marine biology students from Auburn saw some of the critters I have and mentioned that they'd love to get their hands on some for the lab. They came by to get some planaria back in January (seem to come in on a good number of frags, so easy to come by), and got excited to see chitons, etc. I've been trying to round up anything I can for them since.

Assuming it is still alive (it is hard to find a lot of times because it is very camoflage), we have a chiton that is at least an inch long in one of our tanks. It's the biggest one I've seen. We also have a scutus, which is much easier to find. Both came in on live rock (one we got from Casey) and we've kept them both around because we thought they were pretty cool and they don't hurt anything. Can't say I have any other pests (that I know about). I will keep my eye out though. You see a lot of things more regularly then you would like to.

Very cool, I'll keep my eyes open as well.

Brian, I've got a 1.5" (at least) chiton as well, it'll be MONTHS that I don't seem him, and then my wife will just yell upstairs "That armored thingy is out!". It's pretty funny, and cool.

(FYI, I'll be posting a thread with cool pictures of Mantis very soon.

I got a gorilla crab yesterday for m mantis but its a little too big. I want him out sunday so if your gonna be at the meeting I'll bring it. If any one has a trigger or something your welcome to it also.
