Calling goby ID experts... Flagtail goby?

I got this little guy a few weeks ago, he was labelled as an "orange bar goby." I've done some exploring and haven't seen that name anywhere. I initially thought he might have been a mislabeled pink bar / aurora goby (Amblyeleotris aurora) but looking at pictures I'm thinking he is instead a flagtail goby (Amblyeleotris yanoi). Unfortunately his tail is a little chewed up. Can anyone confirm?

Excuse the poor quality photos, the ambient lighting in my house is sucky. I threw in some closeups of the tail in case that helps.

Thanks!

Also I had been assuming the damage to the tail is physical damage, if anyone thinks it is something that should be treated (ie finrot or some such), please let me know (he is due to come out of QT next week but that can be extended as necessary).

Amblyeleotris yanoi, aurora has the distinct pink bars on its face.

I have had the exact same goby in my tank for three years.

Thank you!

The lack of pink across the eye was the biggest thing I noticed different from the aurora pics. But I wasn't sure if it was just normal variation. I also saw some pics of the wrong fish sometimes intermingled when I searched these two.
