calpera going sexual.... I think

i think my calpura went or going sexual, i'm not sure but all of a sudden one colony have really thin stalks coming out from the leaves.

It's a bit weird as they suddenly sprouted yesterday evening when i had the actinics on!

i started dosing iron two weeks ago and i think that's what may have caused it.

the other colony hasn't got those stalks so i dont' think they have, also they are a lot lower down in the tank as well.

should i get ready to pull them out?
